Concept guide

Read access is not write access.

A tool that reads a document has a different effect from one that sends an email or updates a record. Thinking about permissions at this level makes an agent workflow easier to understand.

Begin with the smallest scope

Give access only to what the task needs. An example meeting brief might need selected notes, rather than an entire workspace.

Review before a write

Sending, editing, and deleting can have lasting effects. Use an explicit checkpoint before an action with consequences.

Know how to disconnect

Understand how authorization can be revoked and what data remains after disconnection. Clario’s implementation details will be shared before agent connections open.
